Cristina Diaz grew up in San Jose, California where she has been an educator for the last 13 years. She came to KIPP Heartwood initially as the founding 8th grade social studies teacher and moved into instructional leadership three years later. After 6 years as Assistant Principal and 10 years serving at KIPP Heartwood, she transitioned into the school leader role in the 25-26 school year. Cristina enjoys spending time with family and friends, fall and winter weather and relaxing whenever she gets the chance.
