Leslie Billie serves as the Chief Operating Officer at KIPP Northern California, where she leads data and technology, student recruitment and enrollment, regional operations, expanded learning, and athletics. In this role, she focuses on strengthening the operational ecosystem that enables schools to deliver joyful, academically excellent learning environments for students and families.

A long-time KIPPster, Leslie previously served as KIPP NorCal’s Managing Director of Operations & Compliance, partnering with schools and regional teams to build mission-aligned systems that help educators stay focused on teaching and learning. Before joining KIPP NorCal, Leslie spent 10 years at KIPP NYC, where she helped bring operations to scale first at a growing elementary school and later across a rapidly expanding region, serving as Director of Operations at KIPP Washington Heights Elementary School and then as Director of Regional Operations.

Leslie began her education career as the Founding Director of Operations and Communications for the Newark Trust for Education. She holds a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Outside of work, you can find her running trails, chasing her toddler, or tinkering in her woodshop.
