Myra Jauregui joined KIPP as a Principal in Residence and founder of KIPP Stockton’s second elementary school KSES. She is a wife and proud mother of 2 beautiful girls. She was born in Southern California and then moved to Linden, a small town east of Stockton. After High School, she attended Delta College, then transferred to California State University, Sacramento. There she began a career in education obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. In 2017, she received her Masters Degree in Education at the University of the Pacific. She taught for 7 years before transitioning into leadership as the Principal of Voices College Bound Language Academy in Stockton. She is now in her second year at KIPP Stockton Elementary as the founding school leader. She is hungry for the opportunities to strengthen her leadership skills and dive deeper into her role as an instructional leader. She has a passion to serve others and when she is not working she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is motivated by the many possibilities to bring change and improve educational outcomes for the community she serves. Her mantra is to stay humble, work hard and live each day for the fullest.
