Our Mission

At KIPP Heritage, we honor our histories as we work together to build a brighter future in San José and beyond. We see and nurture the potential in every student, family, and community member. Through a strong focus on literacy, collaboration, and rigorous, culturally responsive instruction, our teachers challenge students to think deeply and grow with confidence. As a joyful, academically excellent school, we prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and character needed to pursue the paths they choose—college, career, and beyond—and to make a positive impact in their communities.

Why Families Choose KIPP

KIPP puts students first. KIPP schools are best-in-class, college-prep public schools in neighborhoods that deserve high-quality options. Most of our students will be the first in their families to attend and graduate from college, and we are proud to provide an excellent, tuition-free education in the communities where they live.
