Sierra Sailor was born and raised in Oakland. Sierra is passionate about serving the youth and being a positive role model in her community. Growing up, Sierra was always surrounded by education, which is what motivated her to help underrepresented students on their journey to higher education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Communications at UC Davis. Before joining the KIPP Forward team, Sierra spent two years as a College Advising Fellow with UC Berkeley EAOP where she developed a strong passion for student advocacy in higher education. In her free time, Sierra loves to listen to music, read, and binge the latest tv shows.
