Our Mission

KIPP Excelencia Community Prep, founded in 2015 through the advocacy and vision of families, is built on the belief that strong relationships are at the heart of student success. Our mission is to inspire and empower all children to thrive through college and create positive change in their communities. Through a rigorous, deeply conceptual academic program and a collaborative learning environment, students develop essential character strengths such as love, gratitude, grit, zest, and curiosity. From elementary through middle school, we support students in growing both academically and socially as they build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to climb the path to and through college.
