Alumni Internship Program 2019
The Alumni Internship Program (AIP) places KIPP alumni in a variety of paid summer internships across different career industries in the Bay Area and helps you to develop the skills you’ll need to be successful at your internship.
The application deadline has passed however our website is being kept up-to-date for students who successfully applied and are now part of our program.
If you require the services of an interpreter, we ask that you reach out 48 hours in advance of the meeting. With less advance notice, we will make every effort to provide these services, but cannot guarantee them. Please reach out as soon as possible.
We will reach out with your internship match by April 8!
You must respond within 48 hours to confirm submission of your resume to the host you’ve been matched with. Your host organization will contact you directly for an interview around April 15.
Hosts will conduct interviews through Friday, April 26 and will send out their internships offers by Wednesday, May 1.

- Monitoring the email address you provided in your application so an employee from Accenture can provide you with feedback on both your resume and writing sample by Monday, March 4th.

It’s interview time!
Participate in a mock interview with your KTC advisor between Monday, March 18th and Friday, March 29th. Hosts will then conduct interviews and make internship offers by Monday, April 29th!
Frequently Asked Questions
What feedback can I expect to receive from Accenture on my application materials? You will receive feedback on your resume that will be based on this rubric, and in addition to the edits made directly to your resume (which is why we asked you to submit your materials via Word), you will receive this template via email, personalized with feedback for you. You will also receive feedback on your writing sample as edits made directly to the document.
I’ve received feedback from Accenture on my resume and writing sample – now what? Incorporate that feedback! Polish up your resume and writing sample for the new versions that you submit between Wednesday, March 6th – Wednesday, March 13th will be sent to our hosts for review.
What positions will be available this summer? Our lists of hosts and specific positions are linked to here. You have until Wednesday, March 13th to select your top three (3) internship choices and resubmit your polished resume and writing sample through the application link you received in your email.
I’m trying to plan my summer travel, what internship dates can I expect? Most internship positions will start on or around Monday, June 24th and finish in mid-August. If you are offered an internship by a host, you will be given the opportunity to communicate any specific scheduling concerns you may have to them.
